Louisiana rapper Mystikal has been denied release by a parole board, and will likely serve the remaining two years on his 6 year sentence. Mystikal was convicted of sexual battery after forcing his hairdresser to perform sexual acts on him while he videotaped. He claimed the woman stole $80,000 in checks and chose to enact his own brand of justice.
Sources told Allhiphop.com that Mystikal remains optimistic, despite being incarcerated. "Mystikal is in great spirits, despite the parole board's decision not to release him," a source told AllHipHop.com. "He's been writing and focused on his career once he is finally released."
The former Operation Desert Storm soldier left the the armed forces and went on to become a successful recording artist in the late 90s. Mystikal released platinum albums on both No Limit Records, and Jive.
