The third annual London Ontario Live Arts Festival (LOLA, if you're hasty) is nearly upon us, bringing a cavalcade of Canadian talent and one musical act from across the border to Victoria Park and other London, Ontario hotspots from September 18-21.
Comprising all that hot Canuck action at this year's LOLA are the likes of Do Make Say Think, Holy Fuck, Plants and Animals, We Are Wolves, Laura Barrett, Thunderheist, Woodhands, Sandro Perri, Hylozoists, and Feuermusik. And, repping for that one country below Canada: San Francisco's the Drift. LOLA's main events at Victoria Park are free, and there will be plenty of visual artists on hand to display their work as well.
