Raissa from The Mummers on Steve Lamacq

Today saw the long-awaited Mummers mini-album arrive on my doorstep. I have been a longtime advocate of this wonderful Brighton-based collective. Indeed, they were one of the first bands I ever blogged for Rock Sellout. The album is entitled Tale To Tell (part one) and it’s available now. All I can say is please buy it!!

The video explains the making of the album and the track I have included is no longer available on Myspace so enjoy. As a footnote, the influential Steve Lamacq from BBC6 music has just picked the band’s single as Single of the Week. You can also catch the band at London’s Roundhouse on 25th August supporting Polar Bear.
