Mike Gales and the Warriorz are a high powered funk unit. Their sound has been described as Powerfunk, a mixture of Funk, improvisational jazz and blues/rock. They’ve performed up and down the east coast from New York City to Charleston South Carolina.
Their music ranges from the acid jazz of Jaco Pastorious to lead blues stylings of Jimi Hendrix. Mike has toured with George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars, R&B vocalist Jill Scott and Jazz saxophonist, Donald Blackwell.
