Rhonda Smith - Intellipop [2000]

Link 2

Rhonda combines her hard-grooving Prince years with her fusion background to create a lush album of smooth jazz and funky instrumental grooves.Smooth urban jazzy grooves, from a bass players point of view.

Rhonda Smith - RS2 [2006]

Link 2

This has a nice blend of jazz and funk. And the thumping bass guitar effect I hear on the more funkier cuts is off the hook. It's kinda got a Me'shell N'degeOcello feel to it.She makes love to the bass. (Marcus Miller who?) Rhonda Smith must have birthed the Bass she plays because she owns it. You also hear major Prince influence in her music. A great CD to add to your Jazz, Soul, Rock, Funk, collection!
