According to a source close to CoverAwards.com, the estimated sales figures are in for People magazine’s much-hyped cover featuring Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twins.

As you know, People mag dropped $7 milli on the cover that they shared with HELLO magazine, which also pitched in an additional $7 million.

Critics cried foul at the exorbitant prices the two magazines were willing to shell out for pictures of babies.

Unfortunately for People mag, the sales figure are a huge disappointment. By now the public is surely aware that pathetic, publicity hungry celebs like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will do anything for attention — including having twins via in-vitro fertilization. Anything to keep the publicity machine churning.
