Sled Island Lets Partial Line Up Slip

Amongst the heavy hitting spring and summer festivals such as Coachella, Winnipeg Folk, and NxNE, a little festival that successfully emerged last year from downtown Calgary, Alberta.

The Sled Island 2008 Festival is back for its second year from June 25 - 28, holding shows in various special venues around the city, including a central outdoor stage at Shaw Millennium Park.

A partial Canadian and international line up was announced today, including Mother Mother, the Wet Secrets, Of Montreal, Wire, Elliott Brood, Jonathan Richman, the Cave Singers, Pride Tiger, Drive By Truckers, and more. The full line up will be announced on May 1.
