On this date in 1981, Splodgenessabounds released their first EP, Cowpunk Medium. It contained the songs, "Cowpunk Medium", "Brown Paper", "Have You Got A Light Boy?" and "Morning Milky". The EP made it to the #69 spot on the U.K. singles chart. None of the songs were included on their self-titled debut album but were added as bonus tracks when the album was re-released on CD. The London punk band has been on and off since 1981 but are currently performing together.
