However, the album DOES have it's good moments and, if the musicians tried to take some time and reanalyze, rewrite and make a better progression out of the songs, the album would surely come out much better than...

Anyway Marathon is another ex of good perseverence in Saga's catalogue with good tunes like:How Are You?, Breathing Lessons, Blind Side Of The Heart , the rest are also good, but not entirely a well rounded and very convinceing album.
